We were going to relax for one day while in Tokyo but accidentally we had a little adventure! I wanted to visit Moomin cafe and I knew there was one in Tokyo Dome. Mikko found out that there was Moomin restaurant at the Tokyo Sky Tree Tower so we headed there. Instead of taking the train, we decided to walk. BIG MISTAKE. The walk took only 30 minutes but it felt much longer because it was so damn hot outside.
Finally at the Moomin House cafe! Nami nami munkki! We had to wait for some time outside of the restaurant 'cause it was full. The staff brought us Little My fans and some water! So thoughtful!
They sold many cute souvenirs and even Hattifattener pasta! So sweet. Sadly we bought nothing.
Decoration was amazing! They even played music from the Moomin TV series. It reminded me of my childhood.
Every food was shaped like characters from Moomin!
The staff placed Hattifattener (Nyoro Nyoro) and Moomin Pappa at our table so we would not feel lonely.
My meal: Nyoro Nyoro Carry rice and soup. It was super delicious! Mikko had the same portion. After eating we decided to walk around the Tower. It was rather new building and there were a lot of tourists there. Also it was a real shopping paradise: over 300 shops! You could find almost anything there.
N-n-n-nuo... leivokset. Leivoksia. Niin kauniita.
VastaaPoistaMuumipappa kertoi Mikolle vitsin, Mikko näyttää huvittuneelta.
